My new HoRizon Hot Air intake pwn5 jo0!!


I took off the piece that runs from the airbox to the throttle body and had to run up to Autozone to get some oil. Fuck, it must have gained 5hp! And on a 100hp monster, that's a lot!


In other news, i finally found my damn oil leak. I believe it is the cam seal on the timing belt side. But it looks like the cam has actually walked a little bit to that side. I'll have to investigate it tomorrow. I will just go thru 2 quarts of oil tonite..

I also think i figured out my knocking. I dont think it's rod knock. I'm now thinking it's piston/wrist pin/rod knock. I guess it's fairly common on these cars since they are pressed pins.. and overheating them doesnt do it any good. I got the car b/c it was overheated like a bitch (leaky radiator and thermostat housing = blown head gasket), so....
