9 to 10lbs of boost on a stock bottom end will not hurt it if tuning is done right. There is very room for error with nitrous. The avg H/C car dyno's low 400's. You will need to spray a 100 shot atleast to get good numbers. A good H/C will cost you 3k minimum. Not including the install labor and tuning. A good safe nitrous kit with all the safety features will cost you over a grand. So now you are up to 4000 plus. Not including all the bottle refills and possible race gas on occassion. You can get a supercharger setup for just over 5k and you can have it installed for less than 1k. Now you have just increase the value of your car.
