There are several things to consider.
First -- some coilovers have wider/longer lower brackets than others to aid in wheel clearance. With a longer LCA this would also possibly help to contribute to excessive amounts of camber.
Second -- some coilovers offer adjustability of the knuckle at the lower bracket to alter camber. This would also contribute to excessive amounts of camber.
Third -- some coilovers have more adjustability at the upper mount due to differences in construction. Some coilovers allow you to remove the allen-head screws and move them to other holes in the camber plate to facilitate more adjustability.
If all three of these things added up wrong for you, you could've ended up with uncorrectable front camber. Don't forget that your car might also be bent/tweaked compared to other people's, which can change things, too. Drift cars get HAMMERED. If you have been drifting your car for a while and have hit things / gone off course / had some moments, I guarantee that your suspension pickup points are not where they were when you first got your car. I know the ones on the Chicken are all over the place.
