ya... most manual BC i've used... its the opposite of what common sense would tell you... seems like.. if the screw came out, it would rasie the boost/screw it in lower the boost.. but like i said.. most of the ones i've used.. its the opposite..backing the screw out usually lowers the boost, screwing it in should raise the boost... just be careful and watch your boost guage....have at it
