one thing no one mentioned is, some jdm items are completely different in their operation. For example, some jdm counterparts come with things like automatic climate control. Pretty nice convience feature. Then there are parts, like headers and cams which are much more aggressive in function. Most of it is style, as evidence by the right hand drive thing that everyone is doing (but I cant understand why).

The jdm thing is over though, buying convertibles and flaming people on the internet is the newest thing!
