The GTi-R fits in the FWD just as easily as the Bluebird motor. The only thing "tight" about the fit is that the intake plenum rests VERY close to the firewall. But, this is not b/c it is AWD. It is simply the nature of the way the manifold is designed. The runners are straight, rather than curved.
