My father swears by Ford and Toyota...and I will admit that Ford products bost a higher build quality than GM. Between reading reviews and actually driving various GM models, almost all of them use cheap plastic interior parts (at least until you get into the $30k+ range). Ford vehicles use better materials and everything fits tighter together. Before my Cavy, I had a 97 Sable, it was slow, but the interior was better overall....everything just seemed to fit together better...and between the Cavy, Impala, Blazer, and Malibu that I've driven....nothing quite compares.
