the 2nd o2 sensor does nothing. its obd-2 and is used for diagnostics only, just like alot of the other obd-2 stuff.
i wish i had kept my egr and my evap systems...but with a turbo it wouldnt help much.
there is alot of talk going on lately about when removing the egr, the ecu will pull timing alot differently. there has been a few cases of guys running upwards of 300-350hp with only fuel managment and base timing changes, and the no egr having an effect thus allowing them to run in such conditions. not having any egr might could be a culprit, but i think you should look at the timing first. make sure when you set your timing, that you have unplugged the TPS sensor and have adjusted the idle to 700 RPMs +/- 50 variance...then set it to 20 degrees BTDC.
