There could've been many factors that nobody knows about that contributed to the accident. Either way, it could've been avoided, and I'm sure the guy has learned his lesson. I can attest to the difference in FWD and RWD....I'm used to driving FWD cars, and a little while back I was borrowing my mother's MR2 Spyder....not the most powerful car by any means, but I was playing around with it on an empty on ramp (loop) and the back end started to come around a little....but it was very easy to correct.
