What do you sportbike riders do when riding alone and come up to a group of harleys? Do you take off and leave them in your dust or do you ride along with them until you get to where you're going?

I usually don't get very welcoming looks if theres a group of older harley riders (I mean old like Metamucil old) I usually try to zip right past them so they don't get a second look. But if there's a group of younger Harley riders I usually ride along side of them and they seem to know what's up, like that its better to ride in a group.
