If you think about it, the fueling requirements aren't any different with a 50 shot dry and a 50 shot wet, it's just the way the fuel is delivered. With dry kits that spike the fuel pressure to deliver their fuel, you'd actually need a better fuel pump to push fuel at the high pressures they want. For what you're doing, a walbro 190 would probably do the trick. The 255 can overwhelm stock fpr's on a lot of cars and run you rich at low rpm. I don't know if that applies to your car in particular.
