Alright, the engine WAS running rich & engine light was on, but I didn't check the codes - drove it for a couple days (and just puchased it). Yesterday I mess around w/the timing, but then set it back near the center. Find a couple vacuum leaks, and one that is totally crimped off, but don't have any pipe. So yesterday I back up to go to the parts store, then go to pull forward (engine is idling fine at this point), lightly press the gas & it revs maybe 100-200rpm faster, then a "click" noise from the engine & it starts to bog down like its going to stall... I quickly take foot off gas & fully depress the clutch.
"What was that!"
I try to go rev again & it does the same thing, so I turn around on idling power & park, turn the car off. Now I try to start & nothing happens (just turns over & over, no ignition whatsoever). For some reason I get the idea to pull the plug wires out & the 2 plugs on the left have a lot of oil in them, the 2 on the right are dry. I thought the cam may have broken so I took off the valve cover & it turns everything in there is just fine. I run the ECU codes today & get
#5 Map Sensor
#10 Intake Air Temperature Sensor
#16 Fuel Injector System
First, any clue what is going on with my car? I don't have my hayes manual with me, so please point me to where these sensors are located. Also, why would I have oil in my first 2 spark plug "tubes??"
PLEASE HELP!
Thanks guys
