The V6 3rd gen performed about the same as the 2g turbos and the 1g turbos before that. The new V6 4th gen might be faster. To 95 percent of the buying market it doesn't make a difference to them whether their ~200 hp is from a turbo four or an NA six, except that the six has fewer expensive parts to replace and has more low-end grunt. The six is probably better in the eyes of the mass market- the 3rd gen was far more successful than the 1st or 2nd gen cars.

The T-case on awd models will piss all of its gear lube and then lock up, locking all four wheels at whatever speed you may be going at the time. Then there's the stuff that's just a result of shitty build quality, like the wiring issues, the isc failures, a lot of the electrical stuff because the electrical systems are crap. But a lot of it is stupid complaints about normal wear and tear on old cars. One guy complained that his tires separated on a 92? If those were original tires, then no shit. If not, that's the tire manufacturer's problem.
