Must be a 4.2.
Never replaced one in a truck but on a 3.8 Mustang it sucks.
The actual R&R isn't that hard. Pull the upper manifold to access it 3 bolts to remove it. The third bottom bolt is the PITA. May have more working room on the truck though.
