I think Shadowboy told me those F1 cars have something sick like a 8000rpm power band. You'd have to be a fucking retard to fall out of the maximum band!
Nobody has a 8000rpm's power band. Everybody has peaks. and of course Max RPM's can make a difference. If I am racing at Sebring in similiar cars = and I can do the back straight in 4th gear to 8,300 rpm's at 145 and my competition can only rev to 8,000 and 142 mph before braking and I can make a 1/2 second per lap difference. than in a 50 lap race, that's 25 seconds. A lifetime in a road race.
