Who knows. Toyota doesnt like bringing stuff back from the dead so much, however lately they have started to: LF-A (a fast Toyota?! wtf!!) MR-S (mid engine sub 2.0L roadster), and most notably the FJ40 (oldschool FJ cruiser which name sorta lives on through the Landcruiser and Lexus equivilent, however the platform has evolved radically). Its hard to say though, because I see the 300ZX, unlike the 350Z, as more of a GT car (like the Supra was) rather than sports car (like the 300ZX and RX-7 were). The import GT/Sports cars have pretty much completly disapeared save for the 2 biggest names (ironically both Nissan, despite their progress to becoming #3 over Honda worldwide and their save by Renault), the "legendary" Z car and "legendary" SkyLine (SKIGHRINE WHURRRR?!11!1).

However, the once-sporty cars now seem to have all but aged elderly. For instance, the 350Z. Wheres our TT go fast version? Why is it still heavy? Where did a "convertible" come from?! Wheres my prune juice?!!!

The RX-7? Now a 4 seater 4 door "sporteh" car, rather than a true lightweight all-around great sports car--actually, all they seem to share is the "basis" of the 13B. Sexy pop up headlights have died completly as of 2003, with the last Esprit being made, now what kids of the 80s once strived for completly gone. In now? Streamline aerodynamic squinting flush ones...Taillights? Radically different post-Gay and Bicurious chrome altezzas...theres nothing there anymore, and plenty less whore's power.

MR-2? As of 2005, a dead model, just like it had been for a few years between the MkIV Supra years. It was "sorta" revived without forced induction and smaller weaker engine than practically ever before with (along with the Z series) a 'convertable'.

Poor Mitsubishi here finally brought over its all around best vehicle, the Evolution, but no REAL Eclipse or 3000GT in sight...

So now if you want a nice sports car like that, you have to look at a German vehicle (which REALLY seems to have dropped the ball, as they are incredibly unreliable and expencive, save for Porsche who is probably just one) or an American muscle car reborn...theres the "Grand-Am-with-a-V8" Monaro, Neon based how-the-fuck-did-Dodge-suddenly-make-Neons-fast SRT4, the about-damn-time-needed-a-new-chassis-but-where-is-IRS Mustang GT, and the "official American sports car" the everlasting Corvette which still hasnt really made a bad model. I mean the Z51 didnt do to well...but otherwise all is good.

Wait what are we talking aboot? Oh yeah the Supra. Nah, I doubt there will be anytime soon
