I'm looking for a 2.5" muffler for my crx. I'm going to get a custom
header back system, excluding resonator and cat. Does a resonator make a
big difference in sound intensity (I do prefer it to to quiet, maybe a
cherry bomb as the resonator?)?

I've had a dynomax ultraflo in my old Maxima, it sounded nice, low, and
quiet. I think I had the domestic version though, so it was bigger and had
more sound dampening material. I'm not sure how big of a muffler I could
fit under the crx.

I'm looking for something that isn't too loud and has a nice sound to it.
I'm thinking of Dynomax, Magnaflow, or Borla. I haven't heard of anyone
using a Borla on an import yet though. I also prefer the stock look, if
not, then a can of flat black would work. Is there a difference in sound
between a canister and an oval style muffler?
