naa. I started an S14 KA into S13 swap along with a 5sp conversion without doing any research. Two or three blurbs from Mattback and it came out just fine.

3b. make sure your consumables are still good. I just removed a cracked hatch glass to install another one. Cleared out all the glass, preped the new glass, and found out that my 3M Window Weld was trying to harden inside the tube. I broke the caulking gun finding that out, too. Doh! So now I have an S13 with a large hole in the back.
