I did several shows back in CT...Here's a couple pointers:


1. Set a show schedule and stick with it. Especially for registration because any delays there cause a Domino effect.

2. Make one person responsible for each task. Meaning one person in charge of Registration one for judging, etc... and even though others may help that person, pick only one to be in charge of that task and knows everything about it and how they will do it.

3. The categories were already mentioned and I agree with what was said.

I think for a first show you did a great job. It's impossible to please everybody. And although there are times someone ligitimately gets robbed in judging, MOST of the time it's their ego talking. The shows are likes sports w/ refs...sometime a bad call costs the game. If you can't handle it, don't play.
