not all tranny output shafts are the same.

KA24DE manual isnt the same as Auto. Auto is way thicker
KA24DE manual isnt the same as VG30. VG30 is way thicker
KA24DE auto isnt the same as VG30. VG30 is slightly thicker
dont know about VQ's

so in terms of thickness (diameter) of output shaft on tranny:

KA24DE 5spd < KA24DE auto < VG30
