To clear up the confusion, I meant newer cars probably dont need to buy the stuff because there cars do not have leaks, plus they probably get it serviced.And i am referring to r-134a.And the enviromental issues i was talking about was related to that china stuff.I was just shocked that it was 12$ a can,when it used to be like 5-6$ a can.Yes i converted it about 6 months ago ,so far so good!I am hoping it stays going forever.I have to put a can in about every to months,not to bad
