he probably is talking about putting R134A in his vehicle though, its probably retrofitted since its older.
I doubt he found a place that sells r12 at $12 a pint... if he did, I'd like to go there and buy all of it. He's definately talkin about r134, price increases have been goin on for a little while now.
And you can run r134 in older vehicles such as mine, I just pumped r134 into mine and it does fine. Been ice cold air for a year now.
