UPDATE:
as stated above. car is down again. Here's the sequence of events:
Got the car running last night on the new dizzy. Took it out for SLOOW test drive around the block just to make sure it was driveable...did not feel stable @ all. I figured the timing was off. When I got out of class today I took it over to the hobby shop and proceeded to "TRY" to adjust the timing using instructions from 60-1EK+Haynes manual. I had the car running and moved the dizzy just a fucking little bit (I can't remember which direction) and by the time I made it back over to the cam cover with the light, the car flat out died. Would not start. Checked for spark...good. Checked for fuel...also good. Car was throwing a code of course, I'm pretty sure it was the o2 sensor but i'm not sure because it was hard to decipher (I don't wanna hear it lol). Anyway to check for fuel I just unscrewed the fuel sender line into the fuel filter just a tad and fuel came out. So I was like it has to be getting fuel. But in the process of re-tighning the line, I stripped out the the top of the housing

To wrap up...I pushed the car back to the dorm, went out and got a new filter, replaced it only to find that now my fuel pump isn't priming. How in the hell it stops working between the time I pushed it from the shop to the dorm is beyond my fucking imagination. The pump is not stock and can clearly be heard when you turn the key to ACC. Now I hear nothing. It is entirely too cold outside and I swear if I look @ this POS again within the next 12 hours I will lose my goddamn mind. So I'm taking the night off. I'm going to go over all the fuses and wiring tommorow to see what's up. And after that the next step is to pull the pump and see if something else is wrong.
I can't win TR. God hates me.
