First off, i'm sure he would notice a difference of 75hp, the addition of a 6th gear, and an 8k redline.
Second, they have not been proven as strong honda engines, b-series motors can reliably handle 200hp per liter, i have yet to see a d17 put down 282whp.
Just like i said earlier, both options will cost similar, the only custom shit is mounts as far as i've heard. The turbo setup will put down more power, but when he wants to upgrade further down the line, he will have to rip open and build the d-series, or swap then. I haven't done research on this, but i would almost bet that a simple turbo kit on a new k-series would hold its own to a built shortblock d17. So honestly, why go through all the trouble?
