Yeah, and it's technically a 351 and not a 350 and a 382 and not a 383. Talk about splitting hairs. The numbers four, two, and seven have a deep rooted meaning to the Chevy (and Ford) enthusiast. Calling it a 428 would almost be sacreligious.
