well i replaced mine today. what a fucking pain in the ass. remove coil, air pump, bracket, the fans...took about 6 hours with two people, one which is an aircraft mechanic from american airlines no less lol.

opti is fine(thank god) car runs great.

but....

it does run a lil over 200 at an idle. driving its 180 or just below. there is some coolant on the air intake right at the throttle body, but on the plastic area...no coolant is leaking out of the car from below tho. i let it sit and idle for a while after driving some...and it went up to 200, then about 230 or so, then back to 200 and a lil below that and stayed there. i filled up the return tank some with some water, and after the engine was shut down...about 3 mins later i went back out, saw water on the ground and it smelled like water....which came from the overflow tank so i figured it was just filled up too much. i am worried tho about the coolant on the air intake housing....anyone have any ideas? thermostat is 2 weeks old.
air pockets?, bad hose right there on the top?
