I haven't seen a newer model kickstand, but what we used to do to the old KZ's was get one used from a cycle yard and then have someone cut out a section and reweld it back together. Local weld shop should be able to do it.
Yea i know thats an option but, im not sure i wanna chop it, in case i ever go back up. Even tho thats unlikely at this point.
