I think alot of people always believe that there is one step left when it comes to adding power to there cars. Like, if i bought this turbo kit and could run a high 13-low 14 sec 1/4 i'd be done. But this is never the case. You add your turbo kit, you hopefully make what you are looking for and you are pleased....for a while. And a year later you are doing the exact same thing. Looking for another step/stage to make more power. It's happened to all of us, so why won't it happen to gokou46? If he boosts the d17 its gonna be fun, but then when the time comes for the next stage (assuming he hasn't turned the dial and grenaded it already) he has to rip the motor apart and get internals. Just doing that alone lowers the reliability of your motor period. And even with that, there are so many components working against you in making great power numbers with that motor.
So why not assume that he's like everyone else and is going to follow this cycle. Let him get his "fix" with a k-series and when the time comes for more, he can boost that.
