Has he checked the intercooler tubes? Acid from the battery can leak on the plastic tubes and leave big holes. He can have the biggest, baddest g charger, but it won't do shit if he has holes in the pipes.
If he doesn't have drag radials, tell him to spend the 200.00 and get them. My tires use to blaze at half throttle in first and second wasn't much better. a 260/268 cam is a great investment. I would also buy an adjustable cam sprocket and move the hp up the rpm ladder.
