Then those brakes you bought weren't off of a 95.
The 94+ spindles use a hub with a sealed bearing and the rotor is floating. There's a few additional differences depending on year. 94-95 have the same track width as fox spindles. 96-98 have 6mm wider track per side. The caliper mount has clearance for the PBR 2 piston GT calipers and the steering arm is straight (as opposed to having a downward dip). 99+ add another 3mm per side of track width (for a total of 9mm additional width per side over the fox track)
Fox spindles have a bearing seat and the rotors have a bearing race.
