Stripped Tensioner Bolt
Im really frustrated on this situation and need some input on some techniques on how to get stripped timing belt tensioner bolts out. I do not want to take my motor back out of the car so I have an angle drill bit and tried to drill a small hole so I could get my backing-out bits in there. Had the hole in the bolt, just about ready to put the backout bit in, when the drill bit breaks inside the bolt. With my luck, of course its a carbide bit so its going to be a bitch to drill it out now. Should I keep going with this method or do you guys reccommend something else?
