I have priced out some new Eagle rods for $380, SRP 9:1 pistons for $445. Assuming im only wanting in the 350hp range, would the stock crank be strong enough? Also, i've been told that i should just use the stock rod/main bearings from Honda. I will also be using a block gaurd. The motor will not be bored, only honed and hot tanked. I afraid if I make the cylinder walls any thinner i would have to have it re-sleeved, which im trying to avoid. Well enough rambling, would this setup be on the safe side, im looking to overbuild this motor for what hp i am wanting to run.
Stay away from the srp pistons , I have heard bad things about them.
