In my case, I'm just leaving the EGR in place (until I get a new upper intake) and buying that resistor and plugging it into the connector that goes to the EGR valve. On my next intake I won't be using the throttle body spacer since the Explorer lower plenum I bought doesn't have the EGR hole in it. I will find out eventually what pieces are used in making that resistor and make my own. I haven't played with electronic stuff like that since I was a kid so i'm rusty on all that stuff. If for some reason it needs to be done I can always cut out my own plate to put over the EGR port on the spacer so I won't be buying the delete kit. It just costs too much, although it is a nice setup.
