With the previously installed helicoils being crooked, did you have to go oversize on the helicoils to get a good mounting surface?

I'm thinking maybe the swap shop realized that the repaired mount holes were bigger than OEM and used whatever big bolts they had laying in a bucket to put the motor in (regardless of whether they were the right size/pitch).

Just a theory....
