Yeah, but it's best only to run the reference port open to atmosphere when you're racing. It causes the bov to respond slower and is harder on the turbo. You can rig up solenoids in such a way that it is in fast response mode at low boost and leak-proof above 18 psi, but that's too much work for the benefits.
Also, the dsm bov can't bypass enough air to work with really big turbochargers, stuff capable of 450whp and up. I've seen people with two stock bov's, but at that point an aftermarket unit is probably a better choice.
Great budget choice, though.
