Obviously, a domestic V-8 has a big advantage over a new mitsbishi eclipse engine in power. Generally an import would be more reliable than the domestic but in Mitsubishi's case you would throw that to the wind!
Even the Evo has quite a few odd problems. But any performance car requires more in maintenence to run properly, no matter what the make is.
Damn, you guys weren't kidding. The Evo is actually pretty impressive for a stock car! 276hp/286tq, that's probably better than all of Chevy's new lineup (minus the 'vette of course). My '72 smog pickup truck motor still pushes more juice than that thing though
