If the cam timing was off a tooth wouldn't the car idle rough all the time? The only thing it is doing is just dying unexplainably. Before it dies it drives fine, once I get it to restart it drives fine. Its weird.

This problem so far only happens in the morning and not everyday. Every other time I drive it I have no problems.

Is this possibly a case of vapor lock? I didn't think the TBI's could get vapor lock because they have a TB temp sensor which I suppose should set off a code if the TB was hot enough to cause vapor lock.
