Next week, Lamborghini pulls the cover off of their latest design study – Concept S. In doing so, the exotic car manufacturer from Sant Agata will also pull the lid off of their highly successful Gallardo.

This isn’t the first time Lamborghini has shown a drop-top version of a modern offering. Concept S follows the lead set by the Murcielago Barchetta design study that eventually led to a production Murcielago Roadster.

That begs the question, “Will Lamborghini build a topless Gallardo?” Rumors all around the automotive media point towards that likelihood, though whether the wild design of Concept S could make it into production remains to be seen.
