Yeah, and some people buy 6 cylinders and spend a lot of money swapping to a v8 only to get beat by a "grocery getter".
Your typical, mid-life crisis, 30+ year old guy that buys the '03 Cobra
should run atleast a 13.00, stock.
Your average Evo will run 13.00 with grocerys in the back. Lightly modded they will run mid to high 12's. Lightly meaning intake and cat-back.
Take them both to the auto-x or road course and the Evo will run laps around the Cobra.
You guys need to get your panties out of a bunch. I just posted this video for entertainment purposes. So lets try to keep it clean.

If you know how to drive, any 03/04 Cobra will run mid 12's on stock radials all day long, and "lightly modded" as you say it will go deep into the 11's on drag radials. And who the hell is having a mid life crisis at 30? Both cars are about the same price, the Evo owner no doubt is slightly younger (because it kinda fits into the ricer category), but not buy much, you need to have your shit together to be able to afford a $30k car. Point is they cost the same, and stock for stock the Cobra beats the Evo all day long.
