But even TY has run that for 2 years, all stock. Then the rods. Ivan bent a rod at 30psi (25psi was 511rwhp). So that seems to be the limit for those.
Ivan, Daywalker, and Enjuku are all building for a 600+hp KA-T. There are numerous 300+ stock block KA-turbo motors running around, and more than a handful of built 400hp KA-Ts. For SR motors.. there are numerous 400+rwhp SR-powered 240s.
You all need to get with the times, if only to stop spreading rediculous internet myths and misinformation.

And to add

PRO - TY's car has been turbo for just over 5 years now, last 2 at 330rwhp/15psi.

CON - Ivan at SP/Phat KA-T's rods were shot peened i believe in that motor with the forged pistons. but still a stock rod taking that abuse (especially the rather dinky KA rods) is impressive (and if a cheap shot peening vs. $700 crower/pauter forged rods gets you safely between 400-500)! dang!

The problem is most people think they know the differences between an SR and a KA and when they boost their KA they dont realize it does have major differences....most people think "Oh, I have 740cc injectors, and a good S-AFC tune" and they get boost happy and blow up because once you break a certain level of boost/power, ignition issues need to be addressed (i.e. as in MORE than just retarding the whole timing map...doesnt cut it), JWT or Enthalpy ECU is definately required, or a standalone for the hardcore.

PS - What 600+ car is Enjuku involved with? Yuki's red s14?
