I'm just running all motor, probably like 450hp @ 6500rpm, so the Chinese cast steel should take it. I'm gonna let nelson balance my whole assembly before I stick it in the motor.
Now the question is, do I stick with the 300/300 duration, .600/.600 lift cam and generate peak TQ @ 5000 rpm and peak HP @ 6500rpm, or do I rock a 294/300 duration, .540/.562 cam and lower the TQ to 4500rpm and HP to 6000rpm? Would the slight torque increase, 5-10 ftlbs, be worth losing 5-10hp over? I think the overall grunt and starting TQ of the second cam may be better.
