You can't honestly be comparing emissions standards to F&F Cars are making plenty of power now and are safer. Yes, it set U.S. automakers back, but they have bounced back just fine with safer, cleaner, and more powerful cars. As far as U.S. standards keeping japanese "supercars" away, that is total BS, they can make them legal if they choose, I would say economics has a lot more to do with those cars not being here than the EPA. Fast & Furious was funny to me at the time it was released because I honestly thought nobody could be stupid enough to go for that shit and try to live like that. Boy, was I wrong. Fast & Furious has done more to destroy racing scenes and cast anyone with a fast street car in a bad light than anything I can remember. Yes, there are people out there stupid enough to try to live that way, a lot of them in fact, just look at you for instance.............................
