I've personally had experiences w/ pioneer, jvc, alpine, eclipse. The alpine was good, but the eclipse was just >. After the alpine and eclipse decks, I'd NEVER go back to pioneer and jvc again. Totally different sound experiences.
It does depend what product from what company. Alot of the middle line of pioneer only have 2V preouts, but when you go to premier they go up to 4+. Its that way with most companies though.
