it applies fine. For a better understanding think of it this way...... Your tires are accelerating at a faster rate but eventutally the car catches up to it. When you launch a car hard and get it to hook You lost the extra momentum .
MPH= Measure of horsepower
ET= Measure of how effiecenetly you can use your horsepower.
