Ah, memories of me sliding captain buttseck's old 87 IROC around on an autocross course. The only drawback is that you could only get a 5 speed with the 305. The 350 never came with one. It's hard to get an autotragic stock 305 Iroc to do what you want it to do thanks to that transmission.
