LT1 with long tubes is not that hard.
Driver side...use a regular spark plug socket and an open end wrench on the end of it. Do all 4 from above.
Passenger side...remove the starter and do the two rear most plugs from underneath. Then do the front two from above. I can do it without moving the alternator, but you might need to move it if you can't quit get it. Should take no more than 1 hour not including jacking time if doing it in the garage.
