As to the weights etc., when I said similar mods, I meant similar mods. Not just two "boosted" cars running but running the same psi etc. All things being equal, I stand by my statement. And that includes drivers and nothing breaking and soforth. I wouldn't doubt that you have beaten a stock '03-04 Cobra, but I would wager the driver screwed up somewhere along the line. I beat a 10 sec 930 Turbo Porsche at BMP all because he spun. Shit happens. His next run, he was back in the mid to low 10's...but I'm batting 1000 against him.
I've also lost to car shat were a lot slower than me for similar reasons. That's racing. But we were talking hypothetically here. ALL things EQUAL. However, I understand that it would be hard to get the HP to be equal if everything else were the same. But then that is the point of all this.
