3.73 on a 4 speed sucks, trust me, I know. You might want to consider picking up a scrapped 3.40-whatever stock read end from a manual 6 speed car. You can get them for about $150 and drop it in yourself. It'll save you a lot of cash.
I thought the A4 LT1's had 2.73 in the back stock, not 3.23.
