Its either your a/c power stearing or your alternator...just see which one the belt is connected to! Your water pump runs off the timing belt so i wouldnt worry about it overheating...what i would worry about though is the possibility that you may have damaged the crank pully from which all of your acessory belts run and any new belt you put on there will shred off just like the last one did...if it were me i would check into that!!
