Well it has the raised boost, and the factory ECU has the tuning for that boost. What really makes it classified as a Gen 4 is the ECU. I imagine the turbo actuater is different too. I read this information on a european site that I can't find the link to right now.

This motor won't come with the mounts you need, you will need alltrac mounts. Also if you plan to keep the factory water to air intercooler, you will need to salvage a heat exchanger from a jdm alltrac, or purchase another one and custom make lines for it and mounting brackets. I am almost positive you are also going to need alltrac front hubs, unless you are going to use the weak 5SFE axles. I mean you could use the 5SFE transmission, but it would sure be nice to have LSD with the MR2 transmission, not to mention the longer gear ratios. The 5SFE transmission will top you out at around 140-145mph.
